Uptown Kitchen & Bar in Jacksonville

I had a open face sour dough sandwich with tofu, spinach, mushrooms, tomato and sprouts...this needs a sauce but it was good and filling. Lentil and vegetable soup was great....satisfied vegan customer. Server was amazing...thanks Alex

Favorite place for breakfast in Michiana! The uptown kitchen has elegant decor and an excellent menu. try the home made jam, you will not be disappointed.

Went there for brunch on the Mother’s day. Although it was busy but we didn’t mind sitting at the bar and got place instantly. Food was amazing and I am sad that I didn’t go this restaurant sooner. Highly recommended!

We've been going here for over 7 years but doubt we'll be going back. Over that period of time, the quality of the ingredients used, the preparation of the food, and quantity of food have all dropped dramatically. Meanwhile, the price has increased beyond a reasonable amount for breakfast items.

Wow, if you're in South Bend, Indiana go here. There's a wait. Because the locals know it's good. And they packed the place. And they're right. It's really good. They have these little red skin potatoes that they cut up and cook with a little bit of seasoning and they taste fantastic they're tender and delicious to make you want to eat them all up. I also got a hamburger. Quarter Pounder cooked my way my favorite toppings. Outside of a backyard grilled burger that is a really delicious Burger. My dad had scrambled eggs sausage toast and the little potatoes. The sausages were twice as plump as any sausage I've ever seen. Dead loved the seasoning and said they were great. And he ate everything on the plate. Both he and I left nothing on our plates that's how good it was. The service was wonderful, the food was great, it's worth going and it's worth the wait.

Over priced for what you get. Better breakfast at Micky d's chicken biscuits at a lot cheaper price

Perfect place for brunch! My bridesmaids & I came here and loved it. The mimosas were amazing. Our waitress was super sweet, she went out of our way to take our picture. The food was high quality and delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and trendy. Check this place out for sure! Prices are average to high but totally worth it

Good was good, loved the vegan options. I was eyeing a chicken sandwich on the menu, but wanted to sub the chicken for extra avacado. The waitress realized the avacado that came on the sandwich was just a spread so she made the decision to sub for slices which was so kind!! The manager came around to each table and asked us how everything was. My only complaint is that the service was pretty slow. I had a phone call I had to take and the manager noticed us trying to find the check and rang us up. A little disappointed in the speed but everything else was good

Food was great, service was top notch, wonderful experience.

Had family in town on July 15 and wanted to sit on the patio for lunch. The manager was very helpful with getting us seating after a very short wait. The food was wonderful and the service was terrific as well. We ended up going back the following day to pick up salads for carry out, which were just as good!

Uptown is open and ready for your business. So happy have such a treasure in our area. We just love the Uptown and visited today! Please go out and support your local businesses! Great menu! Great environment!

I have had the Corned Beef and hash as well as a Pizza. They were both great! Fresh Ingredients and a beautiful presentation. You must try some of their food and I guarantee you will enjoy the fresh ingredients and atmosphere!

Each and every time we travel north to Michiana and stay at the nearby Hampton Inn — we try and dine here for lunch or breakfast. We were visiting recently right after the State of Indiana allowed restaurants to reopen dining rooms (with certain restrictions). I’m happy to report that this venue was practicing safe and healthy operations — limited seating, staff w/ masks etc. The food quality was excellent. The service was very good. We felt comfortable eating here knowing how much attention was placed on health and safety of staff and guests. Can’t wait to visit again soon.

While on vacation between Michigan and Indiana I visited several breakfast places and this was by FAR my favorite. The breakfast was perfectly cooked, came out in a reasonable time despite the fact that they were busy, and tasted excellent. I’m not a mimosa drinker, but I sampled my sisters and it was the best mimosa I have ever tasted. I tried both of my kid’s foods as well and everything was just incredible. This a must stop for me next time I’m in town.

Fresh and creative takes on classic breakfast dishes, love the ambiance here along with the bar seating area. Perfect place for breakfast, or if it turns into brunch, either way you know the food will be great along with the service!

This place was absolutely AMAZING!! They have the best gluten free pancakes I've ever tasted and plenty of clearly marked gluten free options. We were able to sit outside and even bring our puppy. It was such an incredible experience both times we ate here while on vacation at the Dunes. Wonderful if you have allergies and wonderful if your just wanting an amazing brunch experience. Will be back again!

I went to Uptown Kitchen alone for brunch and I would recommend it to anyone passing through Mishawaka. I love Tex-Mex and they have a breakfast burrito that was delicious! The staff was very attentive and accommodating. Great location, great food, friendly staff!

Amazing atmosphere! My food came out with a tiny salmon piece cooked well instead of medium & they remedied the situation immediately! The dish was delectable & so was my white cranberry mimosa!

Our first visit was for Easter brunch and though they were packed, our service was excellent! The kitchen staff was on top of it all as our food came out very quickly and was hot and accurate. Very pleased and we'll be back!

Great restaurant with lots of GF options. I had the GF pancakes, they were just ok. Loved the Chicken Sausages. My mom had the Homemade Waffle with Blackerry Compote--it was so good (highly recommend it).My sister had the stuffed cinnamon french toast with hazelnut& BlackBerries (super good)--highly recommend. Pictured.Our server Chopper was AMAZING!! Full of energy. The desserts looked good. They have gf cookies, brownies, &truffles. Three-layered cakes!!!

They don't open until 8 right now. I found out the hard way. Looked really good though!

My avocado toast was interesting, but my partner’s waffle was so cold the butter didn’t melt. She also asked for strawberries on the waffle and got a side of jam instead. Her hot chocolate was very milky (not enough chocolate) as well. Atmosphere was modern and we had a good discussion over our interpretation of their wall pieces.
